Living in the Grey is a space to explore the relationship between certainty and curiosity, survival and growth, pain and peace. It’s a reflection of my journey from seeking safety in answers and avoiding discomfort—to embracing wonder, awe, and the freedom found in staying open to possibility.
My stories speak to the experience of learning to hold what is real—especially when doubt, denial, and longing obscure clarity. They capture the process of reckoning with old wounds, moving through misattunement and grief, and finding steadiness in truth. This journey is about letting my body speak, recognizing its wisdom, and allowing it to hold and release what it carries.
In moments of connection, whether through therapy, the tender honesty of my granddaughter’s words, or the painful opportunities to build and repair relationships with my adult children, I’ve witnessed how truth can surface, raw and unmuted, across generations. These musings trace the path to being present, alive, and free to witness myself with compassion and courage.
These are explorations and insights into that journey—a place for growth, discovery, and transformation. I’m glad you’re here.
